1. Prepare Your Application, Name & address of the applicant, Class of article (as per Locarno Classification), Representation sheets (drawings, images of the design), Statement of novelty.


2.Examination by the Design Office - Novelty, Originality, not previously published in India or abroad


3.Registration & Publication, if accepted, published in the Design Journal, your design is Registered, 


4.Granted protection for 10 years, extendable by another 5 years (total 15)
